- 18/4/2009 - BURC V Eagles

An unusual start to the season with key players sitting in an exam hall due to end of semester exams, yet a fun evening of rugby was held none the less. Eagles too had player issues for this game, something which both teams grasped on and turned the evening into an opening fixture / warm up round.

The game enabled players to experiment and show their weaknesses which will need to be worked on through out the season,
Glimpses of talent were seen which shows a promising start to a very competitive season.

Although the end result being a draw, BURC is confident that the season will bring some great results and rugby.
